Life

My curiosity began early, sketching holographic video-call watches at age eleven, long before I knew what interaction design was. After years practicing illustration, studying design and earning an MFA in Emerging Media and Human-Computer Interaction at ArtCenter College of Design, I learned to see interfaces not as screens but as living systems that shape how people feel, move, and connect.

Born in Taiwan and shaped by life in the United States, I see uncertainty not as an obstacle but as a teacher. My work is guided by compassion, integrity, and systems thinking, grounded in the belief that empathy builds trust, clarity inspires action, and great design should feel alive, meaningful, and human.

Now

  • Seeking to join an exceptional team designing the next generation of product experiences—crafting work we’re proud of and products that genuinely improve people’s lives.
  • Experimenting with a reading companion app inspired by my love for physical books and the desire for a beautiful, effortless way to collect sentences that move me.
  • Writing about design, culture, and the subtle power of Eastern symbols in shaping perception and emotion.
  • Renovating an old Tudor-style home into a Taiwanese hobbit hole.
  • Living in the Bay Area with my husband and our two kittens.
